Install on NAS and moved from PC

I'm late, it's tired so here goes.
Installed DVR server on win 10 pc to try out. Decided I needed a NAS. got said Nas and setup.
Removed folders from win10 pc and put them on NAS. Installed DVR server on NAS, its running.
How to change to new Address from old one http://dvr-desktop-spf1qro.local:8089 and manage my recordeings etc.
Thank You for any help.

What kind of NAS?

You would access http://x.x.x.x:8089/restore using the IP of your NAS

Synology DS718+. sry should have said.
I did try that restore, saw it in another thread, will try again.
OK got something but it looks like I didn't put the folder in the right place.
/volume1/@appstore/ChannelsDVR/channels-dvr
is where it appears to be installed, I put the PC folder under:
/volume1/homes/ZoobeeQ/ChannelsDVR
I am not a nix person but I can usually figure it out but I did say I was tired lol.
Thanks
I ran http://x:8089/log?n=1000
and go this back:

You don't need to do anything with the installation folder.

Just move your DVR data directory (which contains TV, Database, Logs, Images) to a new share, then navigate to the Database directory in that share via the restore wizard

OK, ill try tomorrow,
Thanks

Wel I must not have moved everything but if there is a Db file in there, I dont know what it looks like and restore wiz isnt finding it either
heavysigh
For the record, I am embarrassed.
Thanks
Sj

You should see "Database" as one of the folders on your PC at F:\TVolume

Yes, I should but on the old pc, that folder is just gone. No matter. Ill rebuild it again.
Thanks for the help
Sj

Oof, that sucks.

How about inside c:\programdata\channelsdvr\data do you see a recorder.db and settings.db file?

If so, on your NAS create Database/backup-123/ and copy recorder.db and settings.db there

Yep, Those 2 are there !
fingers xd

Yep there she is !!
Well that's one thing gone right this week LOL
Thanks much

Where I went wrong here is I was looking in C:\Program Files.
There was a dir for Channels there but thats not the working Dir DOH, it was in the drive folder where the recordings are !!
JIC another noob gets confused
