Intel Nuc Headless

I was thinking about an Intel Nuc with Windows 10 for use as a Channels DVR server. I was reading up on this and discovered that at least a few years ago you couldn't run the unit headless. Not even Remote Desktop or VNC. Is this still the case?

I've never heard of this being the case. The only similar issue I know of is older Mac Minis that needed a display attached in order to complete the boot initialization. This could be worked around by using a dummy connector.

But as far as the NUC goes, if indeed it can't be ran headless, this must be a Windows issue, as Linux has no issues running headless on them.
