I'm following up on this thread:

Intel Ultra iGPU Broken? 265K or 285H

I'm still having problems with these newer CPUs and their iGPU for transcoding. Has anyone else had problems? I get start stop studder and contstant start stop transcode errors whenever trying on my current gen Intel CPUs, 265K or 285H, same issues.

Use HEVC for transcoding

What OS and kernel version?

Linux truenas 6.12.33-production+truenas #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Mon Feb 23 17:38:27 UTC 2026 x86_64 GNU/Linux. I also tested on Ubuntu 25.10 as well. I might give 26.04 a go LTS. I'm running a docker image though.
