Intel Ultra iGPU Broken? 265K or 285H

Ive had to move my channels-dvr to a little N100 mini, which works very well actually, because I get really bad transcoding stutter, pauses and such running on an Intel Ultra 265k. Plex and Frigate and other tools took a bit to catch up but are now all working fine on this platform. Channels seems to be stuck still. I recently tried on a 285H and it's the same. Can't start any sort of transcodes very well. If it works it's for a few seconds at best, then the spinning disc. Is this a known issue? I'd like to keep all my services on the main host if possible. This is using the channels-dvr latest docker image.

N100 works fine. I don't have that checked.

Sorry I misread your original post.

Outside my technical expertise but check this Reddit post. I suspect it’s related to the drivers for FFMPEG support lacking. I’d email CDVR support- one of the devs is an expert on this stuff.

Thanks. I run a custom docker build of plex that fixed that issue for me with Plex about 6 months ago or so, when i built this latest gen platform. I'll reach out to the support team. They were very quick to help fix an issue that was similar to this about a year ago with an A310 GPU and iGPU as well, so not sure why they're arent as engaged here.

Please click Settings > Advanced > Transcoder > :gear: > Rescan Hardware

Then Support > Troubleshooting > Submit Diagnostic Logs

This is better. Was able to do a transcode stream for about a minute before the studder/pause. Then the pauses started happening more often.

Maybe need to reboot or something?

I updated the driver, that's all I can really do on my side.

Rebooting seems to have worked! So far 2 minutes and no freezes.

I'll keep testing for a bit but it seems more stable. Not sold yet. Been burned too mich by this issue.
