Interaction between Channels & PlayOn Home

I've been having a problem with PlayOn Home which may be due to an interaction with Channels.

I am attempting to record Netflix movies using PlayOn Home. The movies start recording, but at some random interval, PlayOn reports that the recording is finished, even though it was not.

I am left with a file on my hard disk which is incomplete and will not play at all.

My theory is that PlayOn Home is using the same folder to record into as Channels is using to check for new Personal Media, and somehow this is causing a problem. Could this be my problem?

If so, is there some way around this other then recording into a separate area and then manually moving the file after the recording is finished?

I've had a hell of issues using PlayOn Home to a point I don't even recommend it. Shows stop recording, scheduled recordings failed, etc, etc. I think you'll have more luck using PlayOn Cloud or paying for Streamfab

I was right about about a conflict of programs, but neither of the programs was Channels.

As far as I can tell, the conflict is between PlayOn Home and EaseUS Todo Backup when Todo Backup is in continuous backup mode. I'm not sure if it is a file access problem or not enough CPU power.

PlayOn Cloud is just too expensive to get 1080 quality. I seem to have PlayOn Home under control now.

PlayOn Cloud using credits is a reasonable 43 cents per recording at 1080 quality.

We all have our own definitions of reasonable. I don't think it is reasonable when downloading 44 episodes of a series.
