Interrupted recording (input/output error)

Hello,

I’ve noticed a few interrupted recordings and am trying to determine the root cause. I’ve attached the log files of one of these recordings below. It appears to be a disk write error versus an interruption to the internet stream. Any thoughts?

That error is coming from your OS and disk

Interesting. The recording seems to play just fine. Should I just ignore this?

Probably, yeah. There's lots of little reasons a recording from TVE would be marked as interrupted like that, due to it's delivery across the internet. We're just sort of over-protective and try to communicate any kind of issue. But most of the time, the item plays back just fine.

Good to know, I’ll keep an eye on it. Thanks again, absolutely loving Channels, only wish I knew about it a long time ago…:grinning:

The DVR is able to resume the recoding, but "input/output error" from your drive is not a good sign and may mean it's about to fail.
