I work for a software company and have pretty much every device for testing. I'm a normal android user but have been using my ios device for carplay lately. While I was waiting to pick up my son, I decided to watch some shows on channels. When I played a show I got about 5 seconds of video an audio and then the whole feed (video and audio) began to stutter and eventually just froze. Thinking it was a bandwidth problem, I grabbed my android to test and it worked great. Then I plugged my android in and the show played fine with android auto. I then unplugged the ios device and the show played fine on it as well. So it seems to be an issue with just ios. (to be clear the only outcome I am expecting is to be able to hear audio through the vehicle sound system while I am parked). Android has no issue with this so is this an Apple bug?
I didn't gather diags but I can next time I'm in my truck...
