I was thinking it would be nice to be able to use the Channels app on my iPhone to control the Channels app on the Apple TV. It would be nice to have the guide view on the phone or iPad and select the channel from the grid and then have it change the channel on the Apple TV.
You already can. Just hit Watch and it will ask if you want to watch on your Apple TV or your iOS device.
Even works from an iPad to Fire tv
