I’m fairly certain it used to be there. When using the iPhone remote for an Apple TV and the Channels ATV app I no longer see them playing content. I do in Netflix etc. I’m on the latest everything (iOS, TV OS and Apple TV app of Channels).
We have no idea what’s going on with these buttons. How they appear is not documented and I’ve both seen them and seen them missing.
It’s a huge black box mystery like a lot of Apple’s things that “just work”.
