Can you make it able to use a m3u playlist sa “tuner” to import channels and also xmltv support to map channels.

Perhaps I misunderstand, but I read the OP as meaning:

  1. Support using an m3u(8) playlist as a supported tuner type
  2. Support XMLTV files as additional/external guide sources

I believe the OP is asking for Channels to support playlists and XMLTV files as inputs, not outputs. The issue with such features is that while many legal options exist for justifying those features, the non-legal counterparts outnumber them by a wide margin.

XMLTV guide options may eventually appear (to support AU/EU countries where Gracenote does not a stranglehold as in the US), M3U playlists as a "tuner" or input is highly unlikely to ever happen.
