Is anyone else having trouble with the latest beta and the Fire TV Cube Gen 3?

I did send an email about this to Channels DVR Support, but I am curious if anyone else as seen this issue.

I have a Fire TV Cube Gen 3. With beta version v2026.10.09.0549, when I try to launch Channels DVR beta, I am returned to the Fire TV Home screen after a few seconds. I tried clearing data and cache, and I also tried uninstalling the beta and reinstalling from the released app. I have another Fire TV Cube Gen 3 and it has the same problem.

The latest beta works fine on my Fire TV Stick 4K Max Gen 2.

I’ve got (2) FireTV Cube (Gen 3)- both are on ver 4.9.4 (non-beta). My server is on 2026.10.15.1516.

No issues.

Yes, that released version works fine on my Fire TV Cubes Gen 3 too. All the beta versions also worked fine, except for the most recent one. And as I mentioned, the latest beta works great on my 4K Max Gen 2.

By the way, 30 days ago in the Android TV/Fire TV Beta Notes thread, Maddox announced that v4.10.0 is being released as stable. However, I still have 4.9.4 as the released version, and I did try uninstalling and reinstalling from the Amazon store and I still got 4.9.4.
