OK, I thought this was like any other app, to watch TV, so I have to have cable too right. Sorry, for all the questions.

The Hdhomerun sends your antenna through your home internet so you can watch tv on your fire tv and other devices. You can do it with cable and no Hdhomerun, but you will not get some locals.

You installed the dvr on a PC looks like. Have you added your cable login? Which part is spinning?

The part when it asks for my ip I put it in and it just spins and I do not have cable anymore. So I need to have cable??

If you don’t have cable that’s OK, you can use your antenna, but you must purchase a HDHomeRun device as mentioned above.

OK, but I think I'll keep using this app that does the same thing, and it's pretty cheap. I may look into this later on and thanks.

Whilst I might be wrong, suspect OP assumed this is/was 'dodgy' IPTV ala Kodi, etc or another App similar to Hulu, iPlayer, etc :slight_smile:
