Is TrueNAS Core still supported? Iocage install fails

Hi!

Fresh TrueNAS Core install today, but cannot install Channels DVR via iocage using
"iocage fetch -P --name "channels-dvr"
vnet=on dhcp=on bpf=yes devfs_ruleset=4 interfaces=vnet0:bridge0"

typing "iocage list --plugins --remote" does not list channels-dvr amongst the plugins.

Is ChannelsDVR still supported on TrueNAS Core? If so, how?

Much appreciate the help!

Have you tried installing via plug-ins?

That said, Channels DVR will not be supported under the latest BSD kernel as a critical component will not run. When I heard this was coming I first moved to a Windows VM yet TrueNAS does not support Windows 11. This is true for Core and Scale. I decided migrate onto a Beelink N100 box running Windows Pro which is included with the box for under $200. It's running great there along with Plex. I also have a few VMs running under Hyper-V on this low power box. My Channels Storage is still on TrueNAS Core making for a very easy migration and great storage management. It's working great!

Thanks for sharing! Truly appreciate it. TrueNAS Scale and Core both seem to be troublesome platforms for Channels DVR, currently. For now, I've repurposed a NUC running Ubuntu LTS Desktop with internal NVME and SSD for storage. Restore from backup worked flawlessly, thanks Channels Team! Will see how this goes for performance and reliability.
