Assuming by M2ts you mean a MPEG Transport Stream (MPEG-TS) container with a video stream encoded in MPEG-2/H.262, then the answer is emphatically Yes. MPEG-2 video in a transport stream is the native format of OTA broadcast TV, Channels' first format.
Have you tried renaming your files with a ts or mpg extension, which most media players expect?
