Hello everyone -
I am trying to flash the PI image to a usb drive but it gets stuck at 99%. Happens in PI Image Flasher and Rufus. I also tried another usb drive and it again froze at 99%. Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot?

Forever. Never resolves.
I just unzipped it and it said it was corrupt. Downloaded it again but no change.
You shouldn't need to decompress it. The imager can load the xz file directly. It's not a zip file, it is a different type of compression.
Are you using the latest version of Pi imager?
Is it getting stuck at writing or verifying phase?
I only unzipped it to see if the file was okay.

Just let it sit. Took 3 hours but just finished. Not sure what the issue was. But thanks for your help.
