Channels DVR is recording a sub channel (2.2) program instead of the CBS HD Channel 2.1.
How do I get it to record the correct channel?
What were you trying to record, and how did you setup the recording?
What does it show in the DVR Log about that recording at the time when it was started?
“Sunday Morning” on CBS. I set it up in passes and there is no scheduling conflict. The scheduled recording shows it will record two future programs but on sub channel 2.2. Not sure how to see the DVR log.
The Log is available on the DVR web UI on you NAS.
If you look at the guide data for next Sunday, does it show it airing on 2.1 or 2.2 in the guide?
2.2, and it also shows the proper artwork for the program.
Okay so the guide data says that program is on 2.2, so that’s what the DVR is recording.
For last sunday’s recording, was it Sunday Morning? What was the video when you tried to watch it?
It seemed to correct itself.
I think that the translator station was sending incorrect information about programs on sub channel and the DVR mistakenly recorded the wrong program, 2.2 not 2.1.
The new guide is correctly displaying Sunday Morning only on 2.1.
