So, I am noticing an issue with images I've uploaded for TV Shows. I create images that have a white border around them.
When I upload them I make sure that I always check the option "Apply art to all recordings of this show".
Everything works fine doing this and my images show up in each app.
However, the shows that I do this with that are also being recorded (for example The Simpsons, Bobs Burgers and Archer) my uploaded images get overridden when I open them in the Apple TV app. The server changes that one but only on the app. My uploaded images still show up fine on the web app.
If I go in and update the images again, it will start showing my images again on the Apple TV, but once a recording happens, the images get overridden again.
Since I don't use android anymore, I am not sure if they get overridden on that app.
As a little update on this one, I noticed that the only section that that this is occurring in where my uploaded image is changing is in the Next Up section. Everywhere else stays fine.
If I go back in and "re-add" the uploaded image it does fix it in the Next Up section until the next recording happens again.
