Issues playing back 4K movie

I am not able to playback any 4K movie that I have ripped to my NAS.

The movie starts playing, pauses for about 3 seconds, starts playing for about 3 seconds and pauses again, etc. same thing over and over.

I am playing the file from the Nvidia Shield which is hardwired into my network. I am using the Beta app to play back the file but noticed the same issue on the stable app as well.

I just played back the file at around 6:45pm and then submitted diagnostics in case there is something there helpful for you guys to look at.

I know this may be a network issue on my part because I noticed that trying to playback 4K files from Emby or Plex are doing similar things. I used to be able to play these back just fine.

If it does turn out to be a network issue, if there is someone on here that knows how to troubleshoot this I would be grateful for any advice because I am have no clue.

Did you try the Settings > Support > Speed Test option?

I did earlier but don't recall the numbers. I just did it again and it reads Download - 742.65 Mbit/s, Latency .086 ms and Jitter 0.71 ms.

I have no idea what the 2nd two mean, but the 1st one is the speed across my network right? That seems like a good number to me.

Yea speed seems fine. Something else is going on with the decoder or player. Strange it would affect all the other apps too. Maybe OS change of some sort.

Is this something that shows up in the diagnostics that you guys can take a look at? Do you want anymore tests from me?

I also noticed the same issue on my Google TV device I bought last week (just because, not that I really needed it).

I did recently move Channels over to a different computer and Plex is also on that computer but Emby is on another computer upstairs.

I just played around with this again and let it keep playing to see what would happen. After less than 1 or 2 minutes playback stopped and kicked me back to the information screen for the movie. It did the same pause, play, pause thing as before.

I submitted diagnostics around 5:34pm and the movie I used was Avengers - Endgame.
