Issues with Suddenlink all of a sudden

Few days ago I started using Channels DVR with TV Anywhere. Everything was working great and when logging into my provider [Suddenlink] It recognized 144 channels and everything seemed to work great.

Today I was having some "Not Authorized" error on some channels. I decided to re-scan all channels and I went from 144 -> 75. I thought that was odd so I decided to remove Suddenlink as a source and re-add it. After scanning channels, I am at 68 channels.

Most of the channels we watch (Food Network, Hallmark, etc.) no longer show up. I can log directly into the providers (https://www.tbs.com/watchtbs/west, https://www.hallmarkchanneleverywhere.com/) without issue.

I'm using the latest pre-release version of Channels DVR. Any suggestions as to how to get this working?

Taking a look at the Channels logs I see the following when trying to authenticate:

Are you running a VPN or smartdns on your dvr NAS?

I am not.

If you go to nbc.com/live in a chrome incognito window are you able to login with Suddenlink and watch?

Interesting,TBS and Hallmark work in the browser (incognito) TBS is active and streams in ChannelsDVR but Hallmark show up as not authorized.

NBC and Food Network indicate that the channel is not part of my lineup in the browser but NBC is recognized as active in ChannelsDVR and lets me stream.

I have been checking quite a few streams today. Is there any type of cache that can be cleared on the ChannelsDVR side? I can get to almost all of them now via a browser/incognito but when I try to manually rescan the channel in question, it quickly returns with notAuthorized, which is a bit different than I was receiving earlier/yesterday when it said "notAuthorized, cannot connect to the authorization server"

There is a cache which can be wiped as follows:

curl -XDELETE http://x.x.x.x:8089/providers/tve/mvpds/Suddenlink/cache

Unfortunately, that didn't help. Looking at the logs, I'm concerned that during the authentication process, there is a script error logged and then afterwards a whole bunch of notAuthorized (no mention of not being able to access the authorization server)

I submitted diagnostic logs again (if that helps any.)

I'm able to get to all TV providers streams in the browser except NBC (and even some of the NBC streams seem to work e.g. Bravo,) I'm planning on calling my provider tomorrow about that but I would at least expect ChannelsDVR to mirror what I can access in the browser.

Perhaps things are not being authorized correctly? If I use an incorrect password, it clearly states as such.

If NBC isn't working then that's probably related. It is tried first and can affect the rest of the scan.

Seems like everything is resolved now. It's good to know that NBC is called first and could influence the others. Thank you for your help @tmm1

OK @tmm1 - First, thanks for an amazing piece of software engineering. It really is wonderful.

Similar problem today with Sparklight. Server's been running for 4 days. Had 152 channels. Then started getting messages on my Apple TV about needing to re-authenticate. Went to the Channels server, re-scanned all channels and it went down to 72. Rescanned again and even fewer. Deleted the source, re-added, same problem. Went to NBC live site in Chrome Incognito, logged in, could watch NBC. Came back to Channels server, and re-scanned and now got 152 channels again. Does that mean every few days I might need to log into NBC or is this all just a coincidence? Thanks!

@danaleighton, after using this for a few weeks I am now noticing a similar same issue. I've started a new thread at Every few days, NotAuthenticated Appears and needs to be re authenticated since it isn't directly related to the issue in this thread.
