is there a way to do this in any of the apps? if i scroll all the way to the bottom of the guide looking for something and then decide i want to go back to a local channel on locast, it takes forever for me to scroll all the way back to the top. same premise if i'm looking around a few days in advance in the guide, and then try to get back to now...
Similarly I have requested the ability to direct input channel numbers in the guide, or alternatively to use the voice function to jump to a channel.
i mean, if we're going there (channel numbers) i would love to see the ability for us to give our own channel numbers...but i have no idea how involved that would be or if it's even possible. would be great though for those of us who have come from somewhere like directv with the same channel numbers for years and years, so that we can edit to match what we already know...
I usually just set recording from the iOS app guide since it's a little easier to navigate with iPhone. I also use the browser guide quite often since it has more navigation options.
If I'm just browsing what's on now or in the next few hours then the TV apps are good enough.
that's the thing: when you have a ton of channels they're really not (which was my main point). if you have hundreds of channels available and are at the bottom of the list (or even in the middle), getting back to the top is a PITA and takes forever.
I agree, having hundreds of channels, makes that difficult. However, for that very reason I narrowed my channels way down to like 70 and I have HDHR OTA, Comcast HDHR Prime, Comcast TVE and Locast.
The devs have acknowledged this is painful with TVE adding so many channels. I believe they are planning to improve the UI in this area.
+1 for the guide flipping back to the top or start once you get to the end.
Iād love to see a looping guide. I have about 330+ channels and it is painful to have to scroll back to the top once reaching the end.
