Regarding this beta feature, will it 'survive' hard drive relocations, etc? I want to confirm it is truly persistent (aka forever). Stoked to see this feature get added. Thanks!
I'm not really sure what you mean.
This feature turns off the auto-delete for a given episode, so its not deleted just because you had Keep 5 set.

Poorly worded question which I think you answered. The auto delete is at the episode level. If I make changes (increase or decrease) the episodes to keep for a show, it wouldn't impact the keep-forever state for that specific episode, right?
Correct. The DVR will never auto-delete that episode regardless of the options you set.
