I recently hardwired surface pro 3 to get better performance, but now I keep losing data on all apps, Android phone, iPad and firetv. If I go back to surface and turn on a screen then the data comes back on devices. The only thing I changed was added ethernet and turned off WiFi on surface.
Sounds like the PC is going to sleep, which means the apps cannot access the DVR to fetch guide data.
Hmm but my battery settings is set to never go to sleep when plugged in and to keep network connection always.
Never mind pretty sure I figured out why it was going to sleep.
