I use a keyboard case with my iPad. It would be awesome to have keyboard shortcuts for things like skipping forward and back. Maybe right arrow and left arrow, for example.
If your keyboard has media keys (Play/Pause, Prev, Next), those work well. Prev and Next will move to the next commercial mark if enabled, too. (Unfortunately, the arrow keys for skipping, and Space for Play/Pause don't work, which is a shame.)
Thanks for the comment. I should have been clearer on the request that I’d love keyboard shortcuts for the ‘basic’ skip forward and backward. As you mentioned, the media keys will do the skip to next chapter marker.
I think the arrow keys would be a perfect option for basic skip forward and backward.
