If it’s not too hard can you add an option for not showing kids shows in Up Next. My kids don’t use Up Next and just scroll down to the Kid Shows section since they each watch shows at different times. It just clogs up my Up Next, and my Up Next is basically all kids stuff since it’s the oldest stuff.
On the web UI you can manually mark certain shows as hidden from Up Next. We still plan to bring this option to the iOS/tvOS apps too.
An optional ‘hide all kids shows from up next’ could be interesting too.
They like adding things and I always have to go in and hide it and it’s gotten annoying lol.
Once the option is in Channels, I think it will be less of a hassle. I definitely understand it being annoying right now with it only being in the web admin.
The problem with globally hiding them from Up Next is that some shows get tagged as kids, that adults watch. Shows that are part of Adult Swim get tagged as kids, and lots of adults watch them. So it’s just too aggressive to do a global exclude. We instead sided on the ability to control it yourself.
