Sure did. Been using Kodi since 10.0. It fails in the same manner on my windows and android clients, so there must be something with my CDVR implementation. The DVR sees them and records correctly and the recording do show up in my library, just cannot see the OTA channels in the Kodi EPG, I'll try some different skins next.

Send us the kodi log to [email protected]
On the dvr web UI does each HDHR have guide data assigned underneath it?
I will get you the log this evening. Yes, there is guide data assigned to each HDHR.

Has there been a solution to this grouping thing? I can't find anything to make recorded shows group. Just a single folder with a dot and then all shows in that single folder.

It is fixed. Thanks everyone. It was a setting in Kodi that allows for the use of channel numbers from the backend.

@tmm1 Thank you for another release, awesome work! Not sure of your development timeline but if possible I would like to request that time shifting of in progress recordings be one of the next items on the list please.
I would like to time shift in progress recordings also.
What happens when you try to watch an in-progress recording?
Inside Kodi, at least for me, in an in-progress recording, I can pause, go backwards for replay and forward after a pause. The only ability that I currently do not have is the ability to start a recording if I am watching a live program or set a timer/pass from the EPG.
Rob
I have not tried the latest version, but as of yesterday when I started watching an in-progress recording I could only watch it. I could not pause or fast forward. This is using Kodi on a Windows 10 machine and using a Synology 918+ for the DVR.
Do we need the InputStream add-on? I have that installed from my PSVue app. PSVue required it to allow for in-progress controls.
Rob
I just tried the latest version and I still cannot pause or skip forward on a recording in progress. I added to InputStream add-on and still no luck.
Example if show is recording we will say 1 hour show and I begin watching at 30 minutes into recording playback will start at beginning but I can not fast forward. Expected behavior would be that I can start watching at 30 min in and manually skip through commercials.
Edit -- Also currently can not pause a in progress recording either only option is to stop playback. This is Linux versions x86_64 and armhf in case others are working.
Grouping is working well now. Thanks!
@tmm1 Little follow up to my emails. I have been experiencing a bug causing kodi to crash and channels add-on fails to load after reboot primarily on my odroid arm based kodi players. This bug seems to be related to the way that Live_TV buffering / caching has been implemented in the add-on for timeshifting of Live_TV. My odroid players have a limited amount of flash storage and when playing a channel for extended time the flash storage becomes full and kodi crashes time frame seems to vary depending on channel anywhere from 1 hour to several hours. Because the channel is not changed or playback stopped the buffer files just keep accumulating. I have found well over 100 64MiB buffer files in the add-on's directory for just 1 hour of Live_TV playback for a OTA channel.
This has also caused a hard crash where kodi will only restart in safe mode because the profiles.xml was empty due to failed writes when storage was full. As you are probably aware all the writing and erasing is going to severely limit the life of flash storage.
Can you please move the buffer or cache for Live_TV timeshift directly to the DVR Server?
Doing this will correct the bug in devices with limited storage, extend the life of my flash based storage, and allow new features like moving the current buffered show to recordings if the user decides they would like to save the show that was being watched as Live since the buffer would be on the DVR and not the client.
edit -- When the clients storage is full and kodi freezes or crashes this is what happens on the DVR

Can someone tell me how to install this on my FireStick 4K? I have Kodi 18.5 installed and I have downloaded both of the latest ARM (not sure which is correct) versions to the Download folder on the FireStick. When in Kodi, I try to install addon from zip and select either version, in the download folder, I just get an immediate Failed to install addon message.
You have to use the android builds.
