For anyone interested, I have a Kodi Addon I am developing:
It is a service that monitors your EPG guide navigation and looks for any matching Movie or Series Episodes to then (optionally) push a notification of match(es) and also adds a "Library Match(es)" context menu item so you can jump directly to the VideoInfo screen (or list if multiple matches are found).
Will continue development and add features.
