I am having some lag issues when streaming remote recording on channels dvr. It will play and periodically it pauses for 2-3 seconds then continues. This is remote through tail scale on the computer using an appleTV 4K . Is there a setting that may help?
Go into the settings on the client and dial back the bandwidth for remote streams. Even though my Internet connection supposedly is good for 10s to 100s of Mb/sec, I set it for 1 Mbps in the client to get glitch free playback. Of course, picture quality will suffer a bit.

Hit PAUSE and wait a few seconds for the local buffer to fill up. Hit PLAY for a smooth viewing experience.
