Better for my case on the latest beta.
Well one bug fixed and another introduced. Start the new beta and select a channel then try to change channels using the channel up down commands on a remote or by having the menu bar drop down from the top of screen. When you select a new channel the app crashes

new beta still hanging constantly, especially when fast fowarding. i killed the app and then submitted diagnostics.
the last stable release is 12.30.1642, that one doesnt hang and feels snapier.

Confirmed. No more crash. Playback works with experimental driver and match source. I think we can mark this solved.

It's for the Apple client apps, not the DVR server. You currently have the most recent DVR pre-release.

@tmm1 @eric this is still happening. Is this part of this issue or something else? Holding down the left trackpad to rewind freezes. Rewinding is completely broken.
