When it upgraded, it took me to a screen to restore or install the channels DVR. It was already installed. When I tried to do a restore of the database, it would not allow me to restore. It was throwing an error. Now, I reverted back to 2022.08.24.2311 and channels DVR came back as normal. No restore or install screen.
What was the error?
How did you revert back?
When trying to restore the database it said something about being unable to use the same path, I didn't get a screen grab. I went into the Program Data folder and copied the previous beta and replaced everything in the latest folder. I can try it again and see if it happens again. I did submit logs, I don't know if that will even help. New diagnostic log submitted under 2e7ffbf2-6837-4a7f-8e30-bdd1a416b832
I have the same issue. When I went to do the latest beta upgrade, it said something like "Waiting to upgrade to..." even though nothing was active. I then went to go into Channels DVR...and it wants to either setup new or restore from backup. If I go to Restore from Backup, it asks for where my backups are and I browse to my backups and choose the latest one and then get the error: open recorder.db: The requested operation cannot be opened on a file with a user-mapped section open.
Ok, that is precisely the issue I had.
I rebooted the machine and when I went into Channels, it didn't immediately come up and instead displayed a refresh icon (with the circling arrows)...and then about 20 seconds later came up like usual...EXCEPT the icon is no longer in the taskbar tray. Tried another reboot. Channels comes up, but no more icon in taskbar tray...
Can you try the new prerelease and see if the icon appears now
The prerelease still has me restore database and then cannot restore. (Latest version) Error: open recorder.db: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.
I'll have to revery back to a known working beta.
I did restart and I was able to restore the database. The system tray icon is back. Is that screen going to come up each time there is a new prerelease?
Seems to be getting these when navigating the web interface. Not sure if it is related to anything.
