Hi - I've been running the unraid ChannelsDVR_nvidia app that is pulling the "nvidia" tag from the docker: https://hub.docker.com/r/fancybits/channels-dvr/tags. I'm not super familiar with docker tags and dates listed on this site, but is that true it hasn't been updated in 4 years?
Also, the issue I'm having (tuner unreachable) in another thread someone recommends running the pre-release version. I dont see a tag to do this on the docker site, is the one to use just the "latest" even if I was trying to use my nvidia gpu for transcoding support? Is that nvidia-test that is pre-release?
I noticed version numbers seem to be left out everywhre, maybe its intentional? I just installed the "latest" tag and i'm on 2024.09.10.2115. Maybe these dockers are just downloading latest when they reboot and not actually using the docker images? Trying to just reconcile that with the channelsdvr download site, which also doesn't include version numbers.
Edit: Ok, I think I've solved most of my questions:
- Pre-release can be actually set in channels DVR itself, unrelated to docker, go to settings->status and you can select pre-release version.
