Latest upgrade to Channels DVR causes QNAP TS-251+ to go into this funky mode and have no accesses to drives

I have the QNAP TS-251+ and running HomeRunDVR and Channels DVR. Since the last upgrade to Channels DVR, I noticed after 2 days running my NAS goes into this weird state where I can’t see the drives anymore. When I go into the QNAP GUI and bring up file station ALL of the drives (internal and external) are not accessible. I can’t even shutdown the NAS from the GUI menu and need to press the power button to bring it down. But after it reboots, things run okay for another 2 days. To be honest, I am not sure if it is the Channels DVR application but was thinking of moving the Channels DVR server to another platform. Not sure if I can run it on a NVIDIA Shield TV? Anyone else having this issue?

Strange, haven’t seen anything like this on my TS-251+

Can you poke around and see if hard drive health info is available in the QNAP settings somewhere? I wonder if maybe your drives are failing…

Hard drive health is good for internal and external drives. When the QNAP NAS goes funky again I may stop the Channel DVR on the QNAP and run it on my Synology NAS. That may help me rule certain things out.
