Is there a way to just go into the alphabetical list of the TV shows on AppleTV and iOS? While I appreciate the "Up Next" and "Recently Updated" Library view, I just want an alphabetical list of shows I have recorded.
** edit: I realized I was unclear with my post. What I'm looking to do is have the Library default to an alphabetical list of TV shows instead of the "Up Next" and "Recently Updated".

You should be using the TV Shows section. This will give you just shows. The Library section has its own responsibility.
You can get to TV Shows with the button in Library, or put TV Shows directly in your sidebar. Learn how to customize your sidebar here:
Additionally, you should read up on Enhanced Library Browsing. This is off by default. It expands the ways your library is presented and is only suggested for larger libraries.
If you want your TV Shows section to only show a list of shows listed alphabetically, you should have Enhanced Library Browsing turned off.
