The new library functionality is positively awesome. The ability to aggregate my AppleTV purchases, with my rips, and also content from Disney+, Netflix, etc is just fantastic.
Now, maybe I’m not using this feature as intended but I’m probably not alone. What I’m doing right now is manually adding strmlnk files for movies I purchased for non-inclusive services like AppleTV+ and then doing a full copy of all of the strmlnk files for all-inclusive services like HBOMax and Disney+.
This approach while seemingly logical makes for a very big library, but also introduces duplicate content across the various sources.
Would it be possible to display each piece of content once and give the user the choice to select which source to play? For example, say I’ve got X-Men from Disney, HBO, and a local file then offer each as a choice to select from when playing that movie.
