So, I'm letting my Channels subscription expire this week. I mainly got it for TVE, which I barely use anymore. I still have a lot of unwatched recordings, though, so I've spent the past few weeks removing commercials and encoding to a better format. It will take some time to get through them all, though. Are there any relatively convenient solutions (that don't require watching on a computer) that will read Channels' EDL files? I know Plex can't, but it sounds like Emby might? Or Jellyfin?
Plex can read EDL files...as long as you have a Plex Pass sub. Emby can too with an addon. Jellyfin can't read EDL files.
You can create chapters using those EDL files tho with either MCEBuddy, comchap or Fileflows and that would get the job done...
I have not seen this and have a Plex Pass ... I have pointed Plex to my Channels folders and it does not read the EDL files.
PS... Please needs Cash lifetime subscriptions all it does is no new cash. They will start Charging for remote viewing to those that do not have a Plex Pass.
Hmm...I thought it did. I haven't had Plex Pass in several years so things may have change.
So...yeah. Just Emby with an addon then....and Kodi
