I have a bunch of rules setup where my system is getting overloaded with a ton of streams recording at once. I'd like to be able to limit the tv everywhere steams so my system and network can keep up. Could this be an option in the tuner setup?

Maybe something like the # streams limit they have for a custom channel source
I would like to see a user being able to input the number of preferred streams... both M3U and TVE.

This is a good idea. But if you have lots of sources might not be ideal.
My use case. My isp ranges from about 7MBPS - 12MBPS. Not great. It can handle 1-2 TVE streams before issues. So i try to record as much as i can in non-primetime hours. Also as much as i can from OTA.
The abilitu at server level to limit TVE streams to 2-3 regardless of source would be a godsend. But b is only a issue because of my crappy isp.

Yes, that would be perfect my for situation. Even just a freeform field to enter a number, max streams.
