Limit remote user's access to settings

I have set up a family member with remote access. But that gives them full access to all server settings. A nice feature would be to give remote access to viewing recordings without being able to access settings.

You can turn on Kiosk Mode for that client via Server Side Settings on your Channels DVR Server web admin. This will remove the Settings section and turn it into an About view.

Additionally, you may want to configure other settings for that client. You can turn off Deletion and things of that nature. I'd also suggest forcing the Quality Setting for Internet to Original, that way they never cause transcoding on your server. This of course depends on your upload speeds though.
