Limit to number of shows recorded?

I just realized my season pass for Jeopardy has not recorded a new episode in almost a month. I'm a bit behind on my watching, so currently there are 138 unwatched Jeopardy episodes on my DVR. I still have plenty of room left on that storage drive. There's nothing set up to record at the same time. And everything else is recording. But not Jeopardy. I went in and deleted my season pass for the show, then set it up again. I scrolled through the guide and no upcoming Jeopardy episodes are highlighted to show that they will be recorded. So I was wondering if there's some sort of limit to the number of recorded episodes of a specific title where once you reach the limit, nothing else will record? Sounds weird, but I can't think of anything else.

This is on an Apple TV

There is no limit.

Is the pass set to New or All?

There are no new episodes on right now. The new season starts in September.

The DVR is not going to record re-runs if the pass is set to New, or if it already has recorded the episodes airing now.

D'oh. Ok, thanks. I specifically looked for something in the guide indicating it was a repeat and didn't see anything. Thanks for the info!

Jeopardy's season ended about 2-3 weeks ago. Early- to mid-September is when the new season begins.

It's set to New only, so I'm sure that this is the problem. Thanks again.

Funny you should mention this. I, too, noticed something a bit unexpected WRT Jeopardy.

I have my pass set to record all. However, it hasn't recorded any episodes in a couple of weeks. I think it's because they are repeats of episodes that I previously recorded, watched, and immeiately deleted. I'd have expected it to re-record them after deleting the episodes.

Only if you update your pass to record deleted.
