Linux AMD HW Transcoding not showing up

Running Ubuntu 22.04.01

AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 2400GE

Ran amdgpu-install --usecase=workstation -y --vulkan=pro --opencl=rocr,legacy
and ensured my user was in the render group

Still only showing Software Transcoder as the only option.

Update... I installed amf-amdgpu-pro and now the error is

Good luck with this I asked for support a few months ago.... never got a result.

Think I finally got it working... DO NOT install the 5.6 drivers (the ones on the AMD website). They do not contain the proprietary support files. Manually change the source.list.d to point to 5.5.2 for all the lists (Amdgpu, amdgpu-proprietary and rocm). Then manually force the components (including DKMS) to install... was a PITA

Correction: It did work somehow and then I updated something and it broke so trying to figure out what exactly i did to make it work
