Confused on Linux install on a BeeLink.

1. Do we need to install Chrome or not?
2. Do we need to install code to recognize an external drive, or will Linux automatically recognize it?

If you use TVE, yes. I have a tutorial that goes through this. Best to disable snap as i have had issues with Chrome otherwise

No you just have to set it up properly. I would mount by uuid so in case you move it to a different port the mount wont change.
