I like my GPS when I can schedule a detour with an in-progress route. I indicate that there is a detour on my route and enter an estimate of the miles and the GPS re-calculates alternate routes taking the detour into account.
During the fall/spring there are lots of Live sporting events that go beyond their normally planned time slots, making it necessary to edit any affected shows that are scheduled on that channel and extend their ending recording time.
What I would like to be able to do is go to that channel, highlight the live event on the guide grid, and indicate the event is running longer than expected by X minutes/hours, etc. and then have any affected scheduled recording automatically extend with that amount of time.
Or simply to be able to select the first event on the guide that is going to be later than scheduled and select a "detour" time period and have it prompt to adjust all affected shows that are scheduled on the same channel...starting time specifically (as opposed to adding time to the scheduled recording).
