Does this app support live sports commercial detection with audio source switching? Would like to play music instead of commercials during commercial breaks. Thanks!
Initial support for Live ad detection being discussed here, nothing on playing music during ads.
I do not think that anything involving music is anywhere on the devs roadmap. I think they are trying to avoid Plex-nifying themselves.

Automatic muting of live commercials would be amazing.
You can modify the Comskip file to default to mute rather than skip ... whether Channels honors that is a different story ...
