Is anyone else experiencing issues with Live TV audio dropping in and out specifically on loud sounds, especially on HD channels. But if you watch the same program from a Channels recording no issues at all.
The HD Homerun App does not experience these issues so don't think it is a tuner/tuning issue.
Anyone know how to fix these Live TV audio issues?
I struggle explain to my wife - to watch live TV select HD Homerun App, to watch recordings of TV go to Channels App.
Not having the audio dropping issue. Maybe the TV or sounds system has volume leveling turned on?
Thanks I did think of that but why does it only occur in the Channels App and not the HD HomeRun App?
Also, it only does it in Live not recorded shows - the show Live will have audio drops but the recording of it does not.

That’s bizarre. What client are you using? Is tuner sharing enabled, what do you have the “home” quality set to?
One difference between Live and Recorded is if you have tuner sharing off in the Channel client app it will stream direct from your HDHR tuner for Live TV, but stream from your Channels DVR for recording playback.
I am using the latest version for AppleTV
Looks like I have fixed it - for some reason had Experimental audio turned on switches back to default and just tested it and it was good.
I do not recall turning on experimental mode but must have.
