Now EPG tags etc can be added within the Channels DVR server, could it be possible to create EPG guide genre colours?

When I select "all channels" within the EPG live tv guide, it would be great to have the ability to assign a colour for things like movies.... similar to how live tv scheduled recordings show up as yellow within the EPG timeline.

This sounds pretty nifty. Might bring channel surfing to a whole new level.

.....We should make all ganres different shades of purple.
Dark purple: movies
Light purple: sitcoms
Medium purple: reality tv
Purple purple: scifi.

Ok. . . I think colored ganres is good idea. But maybe not different shades of purple.

I remember back in the day of Windows Media Center, I used to used to assign Movies tags as purple. I thought it was good, as I could then easily identify upcoming movies within the EPG guide. It was a function (for me) that I really liked & used a lot.
