Using Channels DVR Version 2022.03.31.1937
Successfully added a Local Content: Movie Source. Can watch the movies on my iPad and AppleTV via Channels app.
Attempted to add Local Content: Video Source that has all my home movies, but these do not show up on the iPad or AppleTV apps.
Downloaded the beta version of the iPad app via TestFlight, still no Local Content: Videos.
Is there a step I am missing?
Videos need to be broken up into groups in your folder.
Try adding a folder to the root folder and putting your videos in that. You probably added a folder full of videos at the root.
I added 5 folders to the root folder, named them by category, then moved all the videos into their respective category folder.
The app now shows 3 folders in Videos with the color bars and no text description. Shouldn't these folders show the name of the folder? Can I add it? Why is there only 3 and not 5?
iOS doesn’t show titles like that, you can see in the rest of the UI. Create some placards for your video groups.
