I’m finding some of the movies I have jitter when I’m playing them. is there anything I need to do to fix these? I am playing these on Tivo stream 4K
Try switching hardware/software decoder on client.
I’ve tried this and videos become slow motion like… not sure why?
If it's using software decoding, that usually means your processor cannot handle decoding the content well. If it's hardware decoding, that means your graphics chipset's either cannot handle it, or has poor/buggy firmware.
The TS4K is generally a decent device, but is definitely lacking compared to some other devices. I honestly have never had issues with mine, so perhaps the problem is with the type of content you are trying to play. Resolution? HDR? Bitrate?
Without details and specifics, all you'll get in return are WAGs.
My recommendation for that device is Hardware decoding, turn off Surround Sound. Works for me, but YMMV.
