If I can watch from a browser on NBC.com with my YTTV login, shouldn't I be able to watch it on Channels?
Done that a long time ago. I should be able to view it. Says unauthorized in Channels
Maybe they fixed something behind the scenes and you need to upgrade server by holding down check for update or shift click it. Do Fox and ABC work? Have you tried to just rescan the NBC channel?
Done that also...the reason for me doing this is because on my Dish source, it's not working because of a carriage dispute so I thought I'd use my YTTV login
I know the Channels DVR server does things behind the scene with location and login. Maybe Channels TVE is functionality is still trying to log in to NBC with Dish authorization even though you are now using YTTV login.
I'd say, do a test install of Channels DVR on another computer, login and then add YTTV TVE and see if that new server can log into NBC TVE. If it works on that test server then you will probably have to do something with the main DVR server. Have you tried restarting server hardware?
Maybe delete all TVE sources, clear Google Chrome cache/history, shutdown DVR server, restart hardware, start DVR server and then add the YTTV TVE again?
Yeah I'm not going to install it on another computer because I don't have one. Restarted and re added the sources and it still doesn't work..keeps giving me a not authorized error
What does the Log tab show when you rescan it?
