Locals via TVE on Raspberry Pi?

I'm setting up a Raspberry Pi Server for a friend -- I assumed he would be able to get locals via TVE like I do on my NAS Server, but there is no option showing -- does the Pi version not do that???

After a reboot and an update it now works!

I did a re-install to change accounts and the Local Channels option again did not appear after updates using Edge, but when I switched to FireFox it was there -- so the browser does indeed matter.
