LOCAST late night talk shows have audio glitch

So we are testing out CHANNELS with some example recordings. And have found that the recordings of late night talk shows all have random audio glitches (audio is dropped for a second, with no sound - but come back on; sync remains fine) throughout the recording. Its funny because it is also happening with the competitors product (cloud DVR tool). Anyone have any speculation as to what is happening? My primary use to to record these late night shows for watching the next day, but looks like I can not do that. Is this a know issue with LOCAST or XFINITY (my two sources online online)?

Maybe I should just get a FIRETV CUBE and record local channels? (guessing at solutions).

Probably an issue with the Locast source.

You could get a hdhomerun connect and antenna and use those for local channels.

Which channel number was the affected recording from?

Channel 6000. But am noticing the same on other DVR apps. Likely. Channel thing.

IIRC, 6000 is NBC from NBC, not Locast. (Locast channels are 59XX.)
