over the last few weeks, a bunch of my locast recordings have been skipping. not all, just a bunch of them (more than not)...where do i need to start to figure out what's going on?
What does skipping mean?
missing several seconds/minutes (not sure how much) of a recording. the recording keeps playing, but it just skips ahead for a certain period of time (enough to notice that something is clearly missing, verified with another copy of the episode). sometimes it happens once, sometimes it happens several times in a recording...sometimes it doesn't happen at all.
also, i was wrong...it's not just locast. i saw this last night on several of my cbs recordings so i assumed it was just locast, because i have my nbc, abc and fox recordings set to use TVE...but it did show up on at least one of my nbc recordings as well.
