Locast - Saying Not Available in my Area

Trying to add Locast as a source in my server. I signed up for a Locast account, but since my city is not supported, I chose Chicago. However, when I go to add it as a source, my channels server is saying " Locast is not available in Johnson". Johnson is the county where I live.

Is there some reason I can't just add my Locast account credentials?

Thanks!

Locast is georestricted to your market area. If your IP is not from a served market area, then you cannot receive the feeds. It's a legal issue.

FYI... You should get the same error if you use the native LOCAST App.

Locast retransmits OTA signals in areas where those same signals could be received with an antenna. If you are in one of these areas and had an antenna and a HDHomeRun, you would get much higher quality signals. If not in the area of the OTA broadcast, Locast cannot legally retransmit the signal.
